The short version. The game collects nothing, sends nothing, and has no account. This website sets no cookies, loads nothing from third parties, and measures nothing.

The game
We collect nothing. The game has no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no account system. It does not ask for your name, your email address, or any other personal information, because it has nowhere to put it.
What the game stores on your computer
Your saved games, your settings and your key bindings, in a folder belonging to your Windows user account. They stay on your machine. Nobody else can read them and they are never uploaded.
Uninstalling the game does not delete them. Deleting that folder starts you over.
Network use
The game makes no network connection of its own.
The title screen has one link to this website. Clicking it opens your normal web browser, the same as clicking a link anywhere else. From that point on, your browser's settings and this site's policy apply. If you never click it, the game never causes any network traffic.
The stores
Steam, itch.io and the Microsoft Store handle your purchase, your licence and your updates. That is between you and them, and it is covered by their own privacy statements rather than by this one. We receive no personal information from them beyond aggregate sales figures that identify nobody.
This website
No cookies. This site sets none, of any kind. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
No third parties. Every font, image, stylesheet and video on this site is served from this domain. Nothing is loaded from a content delivery network, a font service, an analytics provider or a video platform. Opening a page here contacts this server and no other.
No tracking. We run no analytics and set no tracking identifiers. We do not know who you are, how you got here, or where you go next.
Server logs
Like any web server, the machine serving this site records requests in order to run and to defend itself. A log line contains the requested address, the time, the status code, the amount of data sent, the browser identification string, and the IP address of the requesting device.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functioning website, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. These logs are not combined with anything else, not used to build a profile, and not passed to anyone. They are deleted after seven days, except where a specific line is needed to investigate an attack.
The trailer
The video on the game page is a file on this server, not an embed from a video platform. Nothing loads until you press play, and pressing play reports nothing to anyone.
Children
The game collects no data from anyone, of any age.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. You may also complain to a supervisory authority.
In practice the answer to a request will almost always be that we hold nothing about you, because the only personal data this site ever touches is an IP address in a server log for seven days. Write to info@games.vatec-it.com and we will tell you exactly what that log contains, if anything.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. We do not change it quietly.
